Who is Marsha Solenberg?

As a mother and former competitive gymnast, I have a heart for children and teaching gymnastics. I graduated in 1984 from Warren Central majoring in Childcare, Physical Education, and English, with a minor in Childhood Development. I have taught preschool gymnastics formally since 1999. I also have several years experience working as an instructional assistant for children with special needs in the Lawrence Township school system.

My experience as a gymnastics instructor includes teaching for private clubs, preschools, home daycares and Indy Parks and Recreation Department. I am CPR certified, as well as KAT Certified through USA Gymnastics. The USAG Kinder Accreditation of Teachers (KAT) is a workshop that provides the necessary education to properly prepare teachers to teach preschool gymnastics/movement education classes.

I have had the privilege of teaching hundreds of children in various settings. Many of these children are still involved in gymnastics as a recreational sport while several have gone on to competitive levels.

I look forward to the opportunity to be involved in your child's emotional, social and physical development.
